Upper Merion police located two reportedly stolen cars in the mall's Green Parking Garage around 3 p.m., the department said in a release.

Two suspects were quickly arrested but the remaining four fled on foot, ignoring commands from police and discarding stolen firearms as they ran, authorities claimed.

They were eventually caught and all four of the guns they ditched were located, police said.

The suspects were charged with varying offenses including receiving stolen property, evading arrest, reckless endangerment, and firearms offenses, officials said. Their names were not reported by Upper Merion police.
